From a romantic dinner for two by the fireplace, a burger with your foursome after a round of golf or a party with friends and neighbors, dining in the Clubhouse at Frederica makes every occasion special.

The farm-to-table trend that is driving America’s best kitchens is also an everyday practice at Frederica. In fact, our executive Chef founded the one-acre Frederica garden. From here, much of the kitchen’s vegetable needs are fulfilled. Herbs are easy crops to grow – and add to the flavor of our menu. And in season a variety of lettuces and greens, beans, squashes and even potatoes are among the bounty harvested from the Frederica garden.

Coastal Georgia’s temperate climate is also conducive to a variety of fruit trees, including sweet native figs. Lemons and a variety of berries all grow in Frederica’s rich soil and find a home in our Chef’s creations.

Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Grouper, Snapper and Flounder count among species brought fresh to dock from local fishermen. Frederica serves Wild Georgia Shrimp – harvested from the limestone-rich coastal waters – that are plump, sweet and fresh. Beef and pork are from grass-fed livestock at nearby Hunter Cattle Company. Chef sources poultry from several of the area’s pasture-raised chicken farms.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in one of the Club’s dining venues every day. A private dining room is available for more intimate meals – and Chef caters banquets, receptions and parties from atop the boathouse in the dining room with a panoramic view of the lake. Occasionally, oyster roasts are held lakeside. The stars of those meals are plump, briny and delicious local oysters. Members receive exclusive invitations to paired dinners that feature menu specials and world-class wines.

In addition to extraordinary wine service, Frederica offers full bar service with hand-crafted cocktails and an ever-changing selection of American craft and Old World beers.
